Bump Inc

Bump Inc (legally Bump, Inc.) is the company that makes Bump, an Android app that lets people share their spare mobile data or Wi-Fi with phones nearby and get paid for it, and lets others buy low-cost Internet by the megabyte. The app is in public beta in Brazil and Colombia.

What Bump Inc does

Bump Inc builds and runs the Bump app, the VPN servers that carry its traffic, and the payout system that turns reward points into cash. Every connection on the network comes from a person sharing their own Internet. Bump Inc does not sell Internet itself. The How Bump works page explains the engineering, and the FAQ answers the questions people ask before installing.
